How can food & lifestyle health coaching help you to move on from your health struggles and make the rest of your life, the best of your life?
Are you going around and around in circles, consulting everyone but getting no-where fast and frustrated by your lack of knowledge and confidence?
- Struggling with an ongoing health issue…
- Struggling with a thyroid problem, pre or T2diabetes, obesity, hormonal dysfunction, intestinal/digestive issues, an autoimmune condition…
- Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, stressed…
- Are you experiencing poor sleep, fuzzy thinking, aches, pains…
- Or worrying about weight gain and your fruitless attempts to lose it..
- Are you disheartened by being told there’s ‘no known cure’, or following ‘diets’ that only work for a while..
- Are you completely confused and no longer have any idea of what to eat, where to shop, what to cook..
If you want this clock to stop, you’re certainly NOT alone:
People don’t listen to me, they don’t help me change. I can almost put my finger on it – what I want to do – but I never felt I could sit down with my doctor and figure it out.
A Patient, Better Conversations, Better Health Coaching
Did you know that a staggering 75% of those struggling with a chronic health condition, or feeling persistently ‘under-par’ are actually struggling with a ‘food-and-lifestyle-driven’ condition?!
Believe it or not, this is good news for you, because it means you can do something about it. But the problem is where to start, how to start and how to keep on going. Enter a Health Coach…
As a Food & Lifestyle Health Advocate, I’m not a registered dietician or a doctor. I’m a CATALYST: my role is educative and supportive. The information I provide will support and motivate you to learn how to educate and empower yourself and become a confident co-participant in healing and managing your health and well-being.
Izabella Natrins BSc, CGP
As a Certified GAPS Practitioner (Intestinal & Digestive Health), a Food & Lifestyle Health Advocate, a qualified Nutritional Chef and experienced health researcher, I’ve learned – from helping scores of others and from the lessons of my own personal experience – that our food and our lifestyle is the solution to much better health at any age.
Strength from the struggle
I’ve also learned that our health struggles make us strong. Living with a chronic or unresolved health issue, day-in-day-out, forces us to find strength beyond what we think we’re capable of.
Making diet and lifestyle changes can be difficult, uncomfortably challenging and often provoke understandable fears of ‘deprivation’. But you are strong enough to make these changes and as your body heals and resets, so does your brain. As body and brain work together in new ways, old connections that underpin established habits and behaviours fade. New connections are established and healthier tastes and habits develop.
Step by step, once difficult to control cravings for foods that don’t serve you and ingrained, unconscious habits will give way to feelings of nourishment from the delicious foods you introduce and to a new-found sense of agency.
YOU are taking back your health!
I’m now in the driving seat, not a silenced passenger.A Patient, Better Conversations, Better Health Coaching
I will help you to gain the knowledge, develop the skills and use the tools that will enable you to support (and even reverse) the health issues that you’ve been struggling with.
I’m so happy…..! Thank you from the bottom of my heart….I had my appointment with my consultant yesterday. He thinks the arthritis is in REMISSION!!!! Woohoooooooooo! I cannot describe how ecstatic I am! I’m still a bit stiff & my foot sometimes plays up – but nothing like it was. In fact, a LONG way from where it was last autumn. YOU helped me get where I am now, so I am truly thankful for that.
Sara Johnson, update July 2016
My special interests include thyroid problems, pre/T2diabetes, obesity, hormonal dysfunction, intestinal and digestive issues and autoimmune conditions.
But where to start? Knowing which changes to make for the best, and how to do things differently can be confusing, difficult and very uncomfortable… and that’s where my support can really make a difference.
Even if we know they’re not serving us, it’s easy to ‘keep on keeping on’ doing the same things, particularly when we’re struggling and anxious with our health, not firing on all cylinders.
Yes, change is hard. But big pay-offs come from step-wise changes – transformation doesn’t happen overnight; what’s important is that we step forward and keep on stepping…
If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.
Martin Luther King Jr.
