Can You Find Your Wisdom and Courage?

I absolutely love what I do.  Sometimes I don’t love how I’m actually doing it, but I keep on doing it anyway.  Duh?!

As usual, my week has been mega-busy and once again I’ve been sitting in front of my laptop, Skype screen and social media pages for the better part of too many days.  I know this isn’t great for myhealth, motivation or inspiration.

But a little unexpected sunshine, gave me permission to take work outside (and lunch, as you can see above – it was delicious) and just changing my normal environment for a few hours inspired me to reflect on a meme we recently shared (via The Earth Tribe) on the Facebook page.

Finding Our Wisdom and Courage


So over the coming weeks, I’ll be taking the time to work on my inner wisdom – asking myself what’s really important to me, defining my vision for the life I really want and working on how to reclaim the energy to create habits that will get me to where I want to be.

No matter what stage of life one’s at – whether building a family, a new lifestyle and launching into a new career, or building the next chapter of a full and varied life – it takes courage.  So I’m going to be working on my courage too – on finding courage to step outside that ‘box’ to live and work authentically and with passion!

From the get go, the thing that I’m absolutely solid on is that I’m going to ‘walk my talk’.  So to help me get clarity, I’m going to be using my CREDO and APPROACH as tools to guide my thinking.



You see, just as I absolutely believe ‘it’ starts with food (and we certainly walk the talk with nutrition), no amount of perfect nutrition can create a truly healthful life, if that life is missing the targets on stress, sleep, energy, digestion and happy, fulfilling relationships and, as importantly, missing direction.

So I’m going to take courage in both hands and use the wisdom that’s within me to craft the life I actually want to live and create the work I actually want to do!

I’m excited – and keen to share my thoughts and journey with you all over the next weeks and months.

Because, the saying: “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got” is not for nothing.

When that man-in-the-mirror is asking you to change, it’s scary and many (most?) of us are risk averse – but our couple of days of sunshine served to remind us that life isn’t a rehearsal and thankfully, it’s re-ignited our spark to work creating the life we really want to have.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and getting really focused is a good place from which to start taking those small, consistent steps that lead to big changes.  I’ll be sharing the tools we use in our journey of transformation and for starters – here’s one of them…
