But there is so much more we can do for our immune system to create resilient, whole-health to protect us from within, by optimising our nutrition and making important lifestyle changes that could ultimately be health – and life – saving.

Our immune system is a complex network of cells and proteins – our heroic, in-built defence mechanism against infections and viruses. It is primed to respond to fend off these viruses, but can only do so effectively if we keep it strong and resilient. If we don’t, it becomes a victim.

Immune resilience is the capacity for our immune system to respond to external challenges (such as the Covid-19 pandemic) and return to a healthy state of wellbeing.

We are what we eat and how we live: when we support our immune system from within – with optimum nutrition from whole, real, fresh foods and a health creating lifestyle – our immune system is our hero, not a victim.
