With 'Self-care September' firmly in mind, I just wanted to give you all a quick 'heads up' on a great new e-book which I have had the pleasure of working on over the summer, along with Jo Romero and a team of 19 health bloggers, experts and writers on health from the UK.

little book of happy healthy livingWe've created a resource that taps into a number of different ways in which you can look after yourself better. This e-book over is 160 pages long and includes 22 wellness articles on a wide variety of topics covering:

  • sleep
  • fitness
  • psychology
  • mental health
  • nutrition
  • food

There are dozens of easy-to-follow recipes, all gluten- and refined sugar-free, and many are also dairy- and nut-free as well! As well as traditional recipes courtesy of yours truly, there are also dishes inspired by the cuisine of Europe, Malaysia and India.

My contribution to the book is a chapter entitled Granny Knew Best, where I take a peek into 'Granny's' larder to discover the traditional foods which kept her - and her ancestors - free from the chronic diseases which plague us today.

The e-book is set out in two main sections: Body & Mind and Recipes. Each article features a clickable headshot of the author, so if you enjoy their writing, you can click through to their website to find out more. There is also a Contributors section, where you also have the opportunity to find new bloggers and experts to connect with on social media - links are in the e-book. Finally, there is a References section with clickable links to research and further reading quoted in the articles.

We set out to create an e-book which puts a happy, healthy lifestyle at its core - and I think we have nailed it! I am sure you will ❤️ it.
